Wisner

In the distillery among alembics, bottles and barrels Ugo Meini had a dream: to make Wisner, an old cherry liqueur (made with special Crognola cherries) whose recipe was given to him by count Curini Galletti.
In old times Wisner had been offered to guests as an alternative to vinsanto and with his personal production Meini could make his lucky dining companions rediscover the old times flavours and intense aromas.

Il distillato / The Distilled Spirit

Since the end of the Ninenteen Century, Ugo Meini’s distillery, learning from the experience and knowledge of a chemist ancestor, has been producing herbal and cherry liqueurs as the Festa delle Ciliege. With its unique round bottle which reminds us the form of the fruit, the liqueur contains only the distilled cherry juice of different qualities which are blended together following an old recipe. Colours and additives are banned here despite the bright colour of the liqueur because if you let nature takes its course, you will be surprised by its miracles!
